What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser Hair Removal is an alternative to daily shaving, monthly waxing and helps save you time in your daily routine. The procedure uses laser light beams to target the hair follicle at the root to reduce hair growth. The pulses of light emitted by the laser damaging the follicle preventing the hair from growing back.
How The Process Works?
QUICK FACTS
FACT ONE: Diode Laser targets the follicle
FACT TWO: Hair growth is cyclical every 4-6 weeks
FACT THREE: Relatively Painless
FACT FOUR: Need 6 sessions for total removal of hair
FACT FIVE: Diode Laser is best laser for hair removal
We utilize the Diode Laser for hair removal because it is now the most advanced and effective hair removal machine on the market. By properly adjusting the laser wave length, energy level and pulse width, the laser can penetrate the top layer of skin and target the hair follicle more effectively. The hair follicle will then absorb the light energy and convert it into thermal energy (heat) thereby damaging the hair follicle preventing the root from making another hair in its place. This technology has advanced enough that laser hair removal is mostly painless and requires only a cooling pad briefly after the session. REMEMBER, your hair on your body is in various cycles of growth and shedding. Therefore one session will not be sufficient to remove all the hair. It is suggested that you have up to 6 treatments total for full removal. Sessions are separated 6 weeks at a time to count for the growth cycle.
The Benefits Of Laser Hair Removal
Traditional methods of hair removal like waxing, shaving and tweezing are effective for removing hair, but only temporary fixes. Laser hair removal is effective, efficient and provides a long-term solution to rid patients of their unwanted hair and eliminate ingrown hairs.
